Claude App Stuck Loading

The Claude interface never finishes loading: white screen, endless spinner, or an empty chat list.

Step 1 — Clear site data

Sign out, clear cookies and local storage for claude.ai, then sign back in. This removes the corrupted session token that causes most loading hangs.

Step 2 — Switch network

Corporate firewalls, school Wi-Fi and some VPN exit nodes block the endpoints the app needs. Test on mobile data.

Step 3 — Update the mobile app

Outdated builds fail against newer API versions. Update, then reinstall if needed.

Step 4 — Disable hardware acceleration

A broken GPU driver renders a blank page in desktop Chrome even when the app loaded correctly.

Step 5 — Check status

A loading failure affecting everyone is an Anthropic-side incident.
